Welcome to Alastic. The terms “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Alastic Co, trading as Alastic. We operate this website and online store (the “Services”). By visiting or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, you should not use or access the Services.

1. Eligibility

By placing an order, you confirm you are at least 18 years old or have permission from a parent or guardian.

2. Products & Sizes

  • All products are made to order via our print partners. Minor variations in colour, crop, and paper texture may occur compared to on-screen previews.

  • Sizes are listed in both centimetres (cm) and inches (in). The measurement system used depends on the product type and the country in which your order is produced.

    Guideline (based on production lab):

    • Australia: inches (all products)

    • UK: cm for fine art & framed prints, inches for canvas & panels

    • EU: cm for fine art, framed prints & panels; inches for canvas prints

    • USA: inches (all products)

    Example: an 18x24 print produced in the USA will measure 18x24 inches; the same product produced in the UK will measure 45x60 cm.

  • In most cases, the difference between metric and imperial versions is only a few millimetres.

  • Sizes are chosen this way so that prints align with local framing standards.

3. Orders & Acceptance

  • Your order is an offer to purchase. We accept it when we send an order confirmation after payment is authorised.

  • We may cancel or refuse an order at our discretion (e.g. suspected fraud, rights issues, fulfilment constraints). If cancelled after payment, you will receive a full refund.

  • Orders are for personal use only and not for resale without written consent.

4. Prices & Payment

  • Prices are shown at checkout in your selected currency.

  • Shipping costs, taxes, or import duties may be added depending on your location.

  • By submitting payment information, you confirm you are authorised to use it.

  • We accept major payment methods supported by our checkout (these may vary by region).

5. Shipping & Delivery

  • Orders are usually fulfilled within 2–5 business days.

  • Delivery times vary by region (see our Shipping Policy). All delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed.

  • Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery. If you choose your own carrier, risk passes when the goods are handed over.

  • We are not liable for carrier delays, customs processing, or events beyond our control.

6. Returns & Refunds

  • Your rights and responsibilities for returns are set out in our Refund Policy.

  • In short:

    • Damaged or defective items must be reported with photos within 7 days. We will arrange a replacement at no cost. If a replacement is not possible, a refund will be issued.

    • Change of mind returns are accepted within 14 days, with return shipping at your expense.

    • Custom or limited edition items (if offered) are excluded from change-of-mind returns.

7. Intellectual Property

All artworks, designs, text, images, logos, and content on the Services are protected by copyright and other rights held by us, the original artists, or licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written permission. Purchased products are for personal, non-commercial use only.

8. Third-Party Services

Our online store is hosted on a third-party e-commerce platform that provides us with the infrastructure to sell our products and services to you. All purchases are made directly from Alastic Co, and the platform provider is not a party to these transactions.
We also rely on external print labs and carriers to provide fulfilment and delivery. Their terms may apply separately.

9. Feedback

If you submit reviews, ideas, or other content, you grant us a licence to use and display them for our business, in line with applicable laws. Do not submit unlawful, infringing, or abusive content.

10. Errors & Availability

We may correct errors, inaccuracies, or omissions (including pricing and availability) at any time, including after you submit an order. If we cancel due to an error, we will refund you.

11. Prohibited Uses

You may not misuse the Services, including (but not limited to) unlawful activity, infringing others’ rights, spreading malware, spamming, scraping, or attempting to bypass security.

12. Warranties & Liability

Except as required by law, the Services and products are provided “as is” without warranties. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to foreseeable losses and does not extend to indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so (e.g. fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence).

13. Governing Law & Disputes

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands.

  • Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Amsterdam.

  • We encourage you to contact us first at hello@alasticart.com to try and resolve any issue before starting legal proceedings.

  • EU/EEA consumers may also use the European Commission Online Dispute Resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page. Material changes will be notified in line with applicable law. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance.
