FAQ
Inches? Centermeters? What size will my print be?
We list sizes in both centimetres (cm) and inches (in). The measurement system depends on where your order is produced:
- US & Australia: inches
- UK & EU: cm
Example: An 18x24 print produced in the USA will measure 18x24 inches. The same product produced in the UK will measure 45x60 cm. In practice, the difference is only a few millimetres.
This system ensures prints fit standard frames available locally.
Do you accept returns?
Yes — we want you to love your art.
- Damaged or defective: If your order arrives damaged, email us photos of the print + packaging within 7 days of delivery. We’ll replace it free of charge. If a replacement isn’t possible, we’ll refund you.
- Change of mind: You can return your order within 14 days of delivery. Return shipping costs are covered by you, and the artwork must be in its original condition and packaging.
Full details: see our Refund Policy
When will I get my order?
Every piece is made to order.
Most pieces are printed and shipped within 48 hours
Delivery times after fulfilment:
- United States: 2–5 working days
- Europe: 2–5 working days
- United Kingdom: 2–4 working days
- Australia: 3–6 working days
- Rest of World (including Canada): 5–12 working days
(Times are estimates and may vary during peak periods or due to customs.)
Do you provide tracking?
Where available, we’ll send you a tracking link once your order ships. Some deliveries may not include full tracking, depending on the courier and destination.
Will I have to pay customs or import fees?
Most likely not if you live in the same region as one of our printers.
We work with local printing partners in the UK, EU, USA, and Australia. That means your order will be printed as close to you as possible, so it ships domestically or regionally — no surprise duties.
If you live outside those regions, local customs or taxes may apply.
What paper do you use?
We print on museum-quality, FSC-certified fine art paper (200gsm) using Giclée printing. The smooth matte finish has a velvety feel that brings out deep, rich colours without glare.
This combination of archival inks and acid-free paper means your print is made to last a lifetime — the same standard trusted by galleries and collectors.

What materials are used in your frames?
Our frames are solid wood with a clean, timeless finish. They’re fitted with crystal-clear acrylic glazing — lighter and safer than glass, but just as sharp.
You can read more about our frame options here.
Can I gift your prints?
Yes. Prints are shipped without invoices or pricing paperwork in the box — so you can send them straight to someone else as a gift.
(You’ll receive your order confirmation and receipt by email).
Do you offer limited editions?
Not yet — but we’re working on it. We’re exploring small-batch, limited runs for collectors who want something extra special. Stay tuned.
How sustainable is your product
We print on demand — nothing is made until you order, which means no overproduction and no landfill waste.
Our partners use:
- FSC-certified papers (from responsibly managed forests)
- Vegan-friendly inks (no animal products involved)
- A distributed print network so your order is produced close to you, cutting shipping distances and emissions.
Our founder is also vegetarian if that means anything ;)
Can I cancel or change my order after purchase?
Because everything is printed to order, we can’t promise changes or cancellations once it’s gone to print. If you need to make an edit, email us right away at hello@alasticart.com and we’ll do our best.
What if my order doesn’t arrive?
First, check your tracking link (if available) and your local courier. If it still looks stuck, email us at hello@alasticart.com with your order number, and we’ll help sort it out.
